SEMBA’s 2024 PedalPalooza

What did I miss at the 2024 PedalPalooza? We’ll tell you! We jumped on the opportunity to move our Start/Finish area to the recently remodeled posh Canyon Lodge, which offered more technical riding, a bigger lodge, a better deck party, great race watching, and easier access from Town.

We redesigned our course, creating a 10-mile lap with rolling singletrack, solid climbs, sweet descents, and a technical downhill. Racers rode 2 or 3 laps entirely on Mammoth Mountain, climbing Big Ring; rolling Paper Route and Timber Ridge; grinding up Pumpkin and Lakes back to Paper Route; switching up and down Manzanita; back up Paper Route and Uptown; sneak across to Downtown; hook onto Shotgun Cutoff; then send it on Shotgun; push through Canyon parking lot and do it all again!
